POS Ribbon Supply, located in beautiful Austin, Texas, was formed in 1992 to specialize in imaging products that bridge the performance gap between expensive original brand ribbons and their poor quality generic counterparts. After extensive research and testing, however, we learned that even the original manufacturers' ribbons are not always of the best quality. Most are made with inexpensive 4 mil nylon and many are shorter than they could be.

Our ribbons are manufactured with a specially woven nylon fabric. It meets all the OEM specifications for dyes, pigments, lubricants, and tension. This new nylon weave absorbs 30% more ink than the common 4 mil version, allowing sharper print quality and up to 40% greater character yield.
